Dear Friends,
We have a very bad incident that happened on Sunday where by a guardian for two of the Orphans being sponsored by Ron got Mad and become very violent to the extend that he beaten them up at night and threaten the orphans to burn them to death. The two Kids then left in the dark to the street where they spend the cold night. Even though I had heard of the old man becoming mad/crazy little did I know that he will reach an extend of beating the kids and chasing them. After we heard of the escape of the kids we went out to look for them we finally found them after two days in Quarry farms where the boy had gone to do some work to get money so that he could buy food to eat. I have attached the Quarry pictures and that for the kids for you to see how it looks like. For your information many people have lost their lives here, some lost some parts of their bodies through accidents and others getting infected tuberculosis due to the dust produced during the manufacturing of ballast. I will attach one picture at a time.

What a horrible story. I am guessing the children won't be returned to the gaurdian? Is there anyone else willing to take these children?

it is a very said story. I am afraid that these two poor children are in company with several other children who are suffering by their bad guardians. As we talked earlier about it with Ron we should start planning for a crisis center, an orphanage for the most needy children.
Thank you, Stephen for the information and the photos. It is so nice to get up to date news even if they not so good all the time. How is the situation with the building? Two class rooms and the teachers' room are still missing. I checked Nabuur, but I still don't manage to use it. I tried to find our resources but without any results.

We won't return the kids to the guardian we arranged with another person who is tepmorarily hosting them.

I totaly a gree that this is the right time to start organizing on how we can have acrisis centre for the displaced kids like this once.
The Nabuur new site is complex in a way and many people are finding it hard to use it.Many of our documents that we had posted there got lost now we need to post them again.
However this blog is a good tool to use to achieve what we would like to have.
